Rinker Athletic Campus

The 78-acre Marshall & Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus provides an exceptional, permanent outdoor home for ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµâ€™s athletic programs and intramural activities. It was made possible through the generosity of longtime University friends and donors, John and Sheila Rinker, and is a proud beacon of the energy, vibrancy, and fitness-conscious nature of our campus community.

Calling All Sports

The Rinker Athletic Campus offers expansive fields and facilities for a wide range of sports and activities. Amenities include:

  • Lighted competition baseball field with bleacher seating, dugouts, batting cage, and scorers’ pavilion
  • Soccer fields including a lighted competition field with bleacher seating, scorers’ pavilion, and three lighted practice soccer fields
  • Lighted competition softball field with bleacher seating, dugouts, batting cage, and scorers’ pavilion
  • Lighted intramural softball field with bleacher seating, dugouts, batting cage, and scorers’ pavilion
  • Mitch Gornto Tennis Center with 12 match courts and one championship court
  • Concessions, restrooms, and locker rooms
  • Outdoor basketball courts and sand volleyball courts

Quick Facts:

  • More than 300 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ student-athletes use the Rinker Athletic Campus for practice, strength & conditioning training and competition.
  • More than 1,100 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ students participate annually in intramural activities.
  • On-site security is provided at the Rinker Athletic Campus 24/7.
